

This palm species is native only to Pemba, a small island off the coast of Tanzania in East Africa, where it grows in rainforests. A medium-sized palm with spreading, slender, and smooth trunks that can reach up to 12 meters in height. The elegantly curved leaves have a V-shaped cross-section. An uncomplicated and fast-growing, rare palm for the tropics with exceptionally ornamental qualities.
