A beautiful palm tree growing in the Isalo region of Madagascar. This relatively small, multi-stemmed species is characterized by its elegantly drooping leaflets. Recent discoveries and research have revealed that there is another "onilahensis," referred to as "drooping leaves," which differs in several characteristics from the previously designated "onilahensis." These are presumably two different species—we'll see which taxonomy is adjusted.
