This gem, which grows to a maximum of 5 meters tall, was only discovered in 2008 in central Vietnam and Laos. There, it grows in mountain rainforests up to 1000 meters in altitude – often on steep slopes, but also in lowlands. It forms runners, and its long-stemmed, round leaves are divided into broad segments. It is also perfectly suited to warm, temperate locations.
