A large, vigorously climbing rattan palm with curved leaves and numerous drooping, weakly clustered leaf segments, giving the leaves a slightly feathery appearance. It is found in rainforests between northeastern India, Thailand, and the Yunnan region of China. In my opinion, this is the first time this "climbing artist" has been offered commercially. The germination rate was alarmingly low; presumably, not all seeds were pollinated.
